The February Boss of the month is Michelle Martin (on the left) from Terry White Chemists Bundaberg.
Michelle was nominated by Trainer/Assessor Linden Pirrone. Linden had noticed that Michelle always takes the time to analyse her staff members’ training plans to ensure they reflect the needs of the pharmacy and the staff. During student Vikki Stirrat’s (on the right) Certificate III in Community Pharmacy, Michelle requested to change some units to focus more on the dispensary. The training plan was amended, Vikki excelled through her dispensary units, and was promoted to dispensary assistant!
Here’s what Vikki shared about her boss:
Michelle is extremely supportive! It was actually Michelle who suggested I do my Certificate III. I was reluctant give it a go but she kept encouraging me saying, ‘you can do it.’ It was because of Michelle that I was able to complete my Certificate III in Community Pharmacy.
As the February 2016 Boss of the month, Jody will go into the draw to win the 2016 Boss of the Year.
