Student of the month – March 2016

Retail Manager Leah Roth from Gayndah Guardian Pharmacy is the March 2016 Student of the month!

Leah’s employers, Sam and Graham Rowles nominated Leah to Trainer and Assessor Sherree Walters because they love Leah’s dedication to their team, customers, local community and the industry.

An inspiring mum of three, Leah has 16 years’ of pharmacy experience under her belt and is passionate about every area in the pharmacy. According to her team, if she could grab a sleeping bag and sleep in the dispensary, she would!

Currently studying her Certificate III in Community Pharmacy, Leah has impressed her Trainer and Assessor Sherree Walters, particularly her infectious pleasant and friendly nature and her eagerness to increase and develop her knowledge. Sherree has also watched Leah become more confident in her ability to assist and provide advice to customers. “This, along with her 16 years’ experience has resulted in Leah moving into the well-earned position of Retail Manager,” Sherree said.

Her employers, Sam and Graham Rowles, said: “Leah delivers professional health care solutions for our customers by drawing on her training and knowledge, and passion for our products and services. Her compassion for our customers has meant she is perfect to assist with Sleep Apnoea services and is currently being mentored by our Sleep Apnoea nurse.”

As the March 2016 Student of the month, Leah will go into the draw to win the 2016 Student of the Year. The Student of the Year will win a Full Pharmacy Assistant National Conference Registration for 2017. Please read the Terms and Conditions here.
