Merchandising – the right standards and the right process

Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference & Trade Exhibition will again welcome back retail consultant and strategist Malcolm Scrymgeour, Director of Zumo Retail as a speaker for 2017.

Malcolm Scrymgeour has forged a formidable reputation as a retail management consultant, working in senior executive marketing and merchandising roles for global brands such as Cadbury, Cocoa-Cola, Shell and the Mayne Group.

Throughout his time working across a diverse scope of retail channels including pharmacy, liquor, convenience stores and newsagents; Malcolm developed the FAR-SPPACE™ concept for assessing the in-store consumer experience.

“Consumers subconsciously judge a store; the first thing they notice is ‘freshness’ and this is the same when buying products from the shelves,” he said.

Join Malcolm for his session on Sunday 12 March, and gain insights into managing and executing merchandising standards and processes that work for your store.  Malcolm will also outline a merchandising manual, which includes examples and images of standards required for gondola ends, shelves, promotions and much, much more.
