At Guild Training Queensland we love to recognise outstanding achievers in community pharmacy training. Congratulations to the Student of the Month for July, Bridgette Atkinson from Babinda Pharmacy!
Does she look familiar? Bridgette is also the Queensland State Winner for the 2019 Pharmacy Guild of Australia/Maxigesic Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Award (PATY)! Way to go Bridgette!!
Bridgette was nominated by her Trainer/Assessor Kathy Gribble who was inspired by Bridgette’s commitment to learning.
“Bridgette is a wonderful student and pharmacy assistant. She completed her Certificate III in 12 months (students have 2 years to undertake this course) and is continuing her learning by doing a Certificate IV,” Kathy explains.
“Bridgette’s workbooks are of exceptional quality and she is always very prepared for her assessments. Her commitment to learning and increasing her knowledge is wonderful.
“Apart from being a fabulous student, Bridgette is an asset to her pharmacy and her community.”
In addition to being Student of the Month and the Queensland State Winner of the PATY Award, Bridgette was also named in the top 3 Trainees for Far North Queensland as part of the Trainee of the Year Award!
