IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Know your numbers 2015

ATTENTION Know your numbers Coordinator and pharmacy staff!

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Queensland is proud to have partnered with the National Stroke Foundation over the past three years to support and promote the Know your numbers (KYN) program in community pharmacies.

We wish to thank you for participating in this program.  You have helped to demonstrate the important role of community pharmacy in health care delivery.

Moving forward, it is The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Queensland’s position that pharmacies should be remunerated for delivering these vital health services to ensure sustainable health programs.

Unfortunately, an agreement on such a model could not be reached and so The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Queensland is no longer involved in the delivery or support of the Know your numbers program.

We provide this information to allow staff to make an informed decision about their future participation in the KYN program.

QCPP and Know Your Numbers
QCPP Coordinators should note that at this point in time the new 2015 Queensland KYN Program resources are not QCPP compliant. QCPP pharmacies should note the requirements under T3C Screening and Risk Assessment Checklist and T3H Health Promotion Checklist to minimise any remedial actions at assessment.

For any QCPP or Pharmacy Practice Incentive (PPIs) queries, please do not hesitate to contact the friendly staff at the Queensland branch on 07 3831 3788 or [email protected]
