April Student of the Month

We are pleased to announce that the Guild Training QLD Student of the Month for April is Lyndell Abela from Walkerston Guardian Pharmacy! Walkerston is found 20min west of the beautiful Mackay coastline.

Nominated by her Guild Trainer, Katy Duldig, Lyndell was commended for her ingenuity and dedication to her role as Dispensary Assistant.

As Katy explains, “even after a short time of observing her in the store I can say that Lyndell is very competent and mature in her approach to working in the dispensary.

“Lyndell had an excellent knowledge of how things ran, from dispensing scripts to packing dose administration aids. Her enthusiasm for her patients was infectious and bubbled over to the rest of the team.

“Lyndell doesn’t let her height stop her either, using a reaching claw to excellent effect when needing DAA packing items!”
