Another word for hives. Fainting spells. Loss of sight. 4. What happens when histamine is released in large amounts? Increased sweating. Blood vessels become dilated and the area swells with fluid. Itching and reddening of the local area. Hair falls out. 5. Untreated allergies can worsen other chronic respiratory problems and skin disorders.
