Baking with Danielle

Danielle is our S2/S3 & Education Events Administrator and resident baker-extraordinaire! Each month Danielle will share one of her delicious recipes! This month is Danielle’s Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Ingredients

  • 250g butter
  • ½ cup caster sugar
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2tps vanilla essence
  • 2 ¾ cups plain flour
  • ¾ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp bi carb soda
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 ¼ cups milk (or dark) chocolate chips

Method

  • Pre heat oven to 170 degrees
  • Cream butter, caster sugar and brown sugar until smooth
  • Add eggs and vanilla, and mix for two minuets
  • Add baking soda, bi-card soda, flour and salt and combine
  • Add chocolate chips and combine evenly
  • Roll into balls and bake for 11 minuets
  • Enjoy warm!
